What The Visit Usually Includes

A bonding visit is the appointment in which composite is added to teeth that are still in the mouth. You are not having a laboratory shell made, and you are not having a tooth reduced to hold a crown. The dentist looks at the enamel, the gum and the bite, agrees which teeth will be treated, and builds the resin on those surfaces.

In The Chair

The tooth is cleaned. The surface is etched so the resin has a surface it can grip. Etching is not the same as removing a veneer thickness of enamel. Tooth-coloured composite is then placed in layers, shaped to the edge or the face of the tooth, and cured with a dental light. The bite is checked so the new edge does not hit first. The resin is polished before you leave.

Local anaesthetic is used if a tooth is sensitive, or if decay has to be removed at the same time. Many additions on intact enamel are done without an injection. You may feel pressure, cold, or the etch. Tell the dentist if you feel pain.

What You Take Home

You leave with the resin in place, the shade that was matched to the neighbouring teeth, and written instructions for the first days. A single chip is a shorter appointment than sixteen teeth. Sixteen teeth can fill a long session, and some plans need a second visit if the bite or the gum needs more time. The package name does not set that. The examination does.

The Package And The Per-Tooth Fee

Do not multiply £120 to create a package total. The named 8-teeth offer is £990, and the £1,980 hotel/VIP package is its own 16-teeth row. A clinical 16-teeth line does not acquire travel inclusions simply because the tooth count or amount matches.

The two £1,980 rows are the same figure with different contents. One is the dentistry for 16 teeth. The other is those 16 teeth plus hotel and transfers. The £120 line is neither of them, and it does not include a hotel.

Listed Totals, Not A Multiplication

Composite bonding is £120 a tooth. Eight teeth are listed at £990. Sixteen teeth are listed at £1,980. Those set totals are the published rows. They are not worked out by multiplying £120 by the number of teeth, and this page does not replace £1,980 with that sum. Edge bonding, or a chip repair, is a separate row at £60 a tooth.

The fee for your mouth is confirmed after the dentist examines you. A reply from photographs can name which row it is using. It cannot finish the plan. Check the same rows on the Full Dental Price List before you compare a quote.

Edge Repair

Edge bonding rebuilds a corner or a short biting edge. It is £60 a tooth because the addition is smaller than bonding the face of the tooth. A quote that says “bonding” should say whether it means this £60 edge or the £120 row. The edge row does not become a smile package, and it does not include a room or a transfer.

Hotel, Transfers And Flights

Hotel and transfers belong to the composite smile package only. They are not folded into £120, into £990, or into the clinical 16-tooth row. The price list does not give a number of nights, a hotel name or a board basis, so this page does not invent them. The written quote confirms the stay. Flights are not listed on any of these rows. Medicines, if you need them, are named in the plan rather than assumed from the package title.

Confirm The Procedure Named In The Package

Check that the written plan names composite bonding rather than a prepared ceramic veneer or crown. Those are different procedures and fee scopes. If the recommendation changes, request the revised treatment and quote before confirming the visit.

How The Day Is Arranged

The usual path is a message before you travel, one clinical day in Antalya or Istanbul, and the journey home after the bite has been checked. The smile package adds a hotel and transfers to that path. It does not add a published number of nights, and it does not turn the dentistry into a veneer.

Before You Travel

A preliminary reply can say whether the photographs look like an edge repair, a few teeth, or a 16-tooth plan. It should name £60, £120, £990 or £1,980, and it should say whether hotel and transfers are in that reply. Photographs do not show the bite under load, or decay at the edge of an old filling. Book travel you can change until the dentist has seen you. The clinic is in Antalya or Istanbul. The city does not change the published rows.

On The Day

The appointment starts with the examination, not with the resin. If the tooth is not ready, bonding waits. That can mean treating decay or gum inflammation first, or choosing a veneer because the change you want needs a shell. When bonding goes ahead, the shade is checked in the surgery light and, when it can be, in daylight. The resin is built, the bite is adjusted, and the surface is polished. You should leave knowing which teeth were treated and whom to contact if an edge feels high or sharp.

After The Appointment

Bonding alone is not surgery under the gum, but a package name does not set a safe departure time. Ask the dentist to confirm travel after the bite has been checked, especially if you also need other treatment or have pain. If you had an injection, wait until the numbness has worn off before you eat. Resin can stain from coffee, tea and other strong colours over time; follow the aftercare for the material used rather than treating a fixed two-day window as protection. Airline rules are yours to check. Ask how a later chip is assessed and whether follow-up is included in your written plan.
