Getting your teeth done in Turkey starts before any flight. You send photographs and a short history. The clinic replies with a written plan. Treatment days in the clinic come after that plan is agreed in person. What varies is which teeth are involved, which method the examination supports, and how many appointments the laboratory needs. The Usual Order

Photographs Before You Travel
Photographs are enough to start a conversation. They are not a diagnosis, and they are not permission to book a fixed week. A useful set shows the teeth at rest, a smile, and the teeth biting together. Add a side view if the edges of the front teeth are the concern. If you have recent radiographs, send those too. Name the medicines you take, and say whether any tooth is painful, loose or broken.
What A Photograph Cannot Show
A smile photograph often misses decay between the teeth, gum disease, and a bite that overloads one tooth. It cannot measure how much enamel is left, or whether a tooth needs a root treatment before any cosmetic work. That is why a reply based on photographs stays provisional. A Preview Is Not The Finished Teeth
A shade tab held against the teeth, or a digital mock-up on a screen, is a way to talk about colour and length. It is a preview. It is not a photograph of the teeth after treatment, and it is not a promise that the laboratory result will match the screen. When You Can Start
Most adults who want to change the colour, shape or small gaps of teeth they still have can send photographs and a history. Say which teeth bother you, and whether you are willing to have tooth structure removed if a veneer or a crown is proposed.
When To Pause
Pain, swelling, or a tooth that is loose should be assessed before a cosmetic date is booked. Pregnancy is a reason to postpone elective treatment. An uncontrolled medical condition belongs in the history before anyone suggests a day count.

What The Written Plan Should Name
A useful reply is a written plan, not a single price in a chat. It should say which teeth are included, what is proposed on each one, and what the photographs could not answer. It should also say that the clinic examination can change it. If the message does not name the teeth, you cannot compare it with another quote.
Teeth, Method And Unknowns
The plan should separate a facing on a tooth you keep from a crown that covers the whole tooth, and from a repair that uses bonding. It should say if a tooth is too weak for the method you asked for. It should list what is still unknown until the mouth is examined: the gum, the bite, and any radiograph the dentist still needs. Local anaesthetic is the usual approach. Soreness afterwards is still possible, and the plan should say so.

The Days In The Clinic
Clinic days begin with an examination, not with drilling. The dentist looks at the teeth, the gum and the bite, and takes a three-dimensional scan if the plan needs one. That scan is sometimes called a CBCT. Only then is the written plan confirmed or rewritten. Treatment that was described from photographs can be shortened, delayed or changed.
The Day Of Treatment
On a treatment day the work is the appointment you agreed, under local anaesthetic, with any laboratory stage the method needs. Plan to rest afterwards. Do not treat that day as a beach day. Soreness, sensitivity or swelling can follow, depending on what was done. Those effects are a reason to keep the evening quiet, not a sign you should have filled it with a trip.
Time While The Laboratory Works
Some plans have a gap between appointments because the laboratory is making the teeth. That gap is part of the clinical sequence. It is not a promise of free time, and it is not the same number of days for every case. A plan with a temporary tooth, and a plan that fits the final teeth in one stretch, do not share a calendar. Ask the written plan which of those you are being offered.
Records Before You Leave
Before you travel home, ask for a note of which teeth were treated, what material was used, and how to contact the clinic if something feels high, loose or painful. A dentist at home can use that note for ordinary checks. It does not oblige another dentist to redo the work. Flying is a decision for when you are comfortable and the bite has been checked. What Changes The Number Of Days
The number of days changes with the plan. Work on teeth you still have can often be arranged in one visit to the clinic, and the days inside that visit still depend on the laboratory and on how many teeth are prepared. A plan that needs a healing period, such as an implant placed in the bone, is a different sequence and often a later visit. This page does not publish one stay and apply it to both.
Why A Fixed Week Is The Wrong Question
People ask how long it takes because they need to book travel. The honest answer is that the examination writes the appointments. A message that promises the same week for every smile is guessing. Keep flights refundable until the clinic has confirmed the plan, including whether a second visit is expected.
Risks The Plan Should Mention
The written plan should name the risks of the method it proposes. Veneers and crowns can leave a tooth sensitive, can chip, and can come unstuck. Preparation can, uncommonly, irritate the nerve. A change in length can change the bite, and a tooth that hits first needs an adjustment. Gum inflammation and staining at the edges are more likely if cleaning is poor or if you smoke. None of that is a personal failure rate, and this page does not give a lifespan for a particular tooth.
