How The All-On-8 Fee Is Quoted

There is no published All-on-8 package total at HCT. The fee is quoted after clinical assessment. A message that names only “All-on-8” has not yet priced the implants, the teeth or the travel. The written quote is the document that does that. It should be specific enough that you can compare it with another clinic without guessing what was left out.

Check those package lines on the HCT dental price list before you compare a quote. The same both-jaws packages, including what they contain, are explained on the full mouth implant packages page. An All-on-8 figure is not made by adding single-tooth fees together, and it is not made by relabelling the £5,980 or £6,480 line.

What A Complete Quote Names

Ask the reply to state how many implants are planned, in which jaw, and which brand is proposed. Ask what the final teeth are made of, whether temporary teeth are included, and whether those temporary teeth are fixed or removable. Ask which travel is inside the fee and which is not. A brand other than the Neodent or Osstem systems used in the published All-on-4 and All-on-6 packages is a separate written quote. That change does not produce a new All-on-8 total on this page.

What Is Not Copied From The Other Packages

The All-on-4 and All-on-6 packages include the extractions in that implant plan, the prescribed medicines, airport transfers for both visits, and a room with breakfast for 3 days on the first visit and 7 days on the second. A periodic flight contribution of up to £200 is confirmed in the written offer for those packages. It is not a separate £200 for every flight. None of that list is assumed on an All-on-8 quote. Hotel days from those packages do not transfer. If your All-on-8 plan includes any of those services, the quote has to say so.

A bone graft at £130, or a sinus lift at £380, is added only when the scan shows the need. IV sedation is £230 a session if you and the surgeon agree to use it. A simple extraction billed on its own is £30, and a surgical extraction billed on its own is £100. Those lines are not a substitute for an All-on-8 total, and they are not already inside a fee that has not been written yet.

What The All-On-8 Label Means

All-on-8 is used when a fixed bridge is being discussed for a jaw that has lost most of its teeth, or is about to. The bridge stays in. It is not a denture you take out at night. The label is not a promise of a set number of implants. The number in an HCT plan is the number written after the scan.

Eight Implants In The All-On-4 Package

The confusing part is the word eight. The published All-on-4 package uses eight implants in total, because it places four in each jaw. Those eight implants, with 24 final zirconia teeth, are the £5,980 both-jaws package. They are not an All-on-8 plan, and the fee does not become an All-on-8 fee because the implant count in that package happens to be eight. The All-on-6 package uses twelve implants in total, six in each jaw, at £6,480. That is a third offer, with its own scope.

Why This Page Does Not Set A Count

A fuller set of fixtures can spread chewing force, but only where each fixture has bone around it. Placing more implants in thin bone does not make a bridge stronger. HCT does not publish a fixed All-on-8 count as a protocol you can book from a headline. The surgeon reads the scan, the bite and the medical history, then writes the number, the positions and the brand. If the bone cannot hold the number you hoped for, the plan changes. That is an assessment, not a downgrade from a package that was never listed.

The same point applies to multiplying the £560 single-tooth line, which includes an abutment and a crown for one gap. A full-arch bridge is not a row of those single teeth, and the hotel days in a full-arch package are not part of the £560. Keep the documents apart when you compare them.

What Assessment Can Change In The Quote

A configuration label does not confirm clinical suitability. Ask whether the implant count and positions are confirmed or still depend on examination and imaging. The All-on-8 method and clinical planning guide explains the assessment and procedure.

If assessment changes the configuration, request the revised implant count, restoration, appointment sequence and fee in writing. A larger number of implants is not automatically a better plan or a price formula.

The Visits And The Healing Gap

Full-arch treatment at HCT is usually planned as two visits. The first is for assessment, any agreed extractions, and placement. The second is for the final teeth, after the clinician is satisfied the implants can be restored. The gap is often about 3–6 months. That range is a typical healing window, not a date the clinic can stamp on every All-on-8 case. The quote confirms the days in clinic.

Before You Travel

A preliminary reply from photographs is not the final plan. The scan in the clinic can change the implant count, the brand, or show that a graft is needed. Book refundable travel until that is clear. Do not treat hotel nights from the All-on-4 or All-on-6 packages as already booked for an All-on-8 quote.

The First Visit

The surgeon examines the jaws, the bite and the scan, then confirms the system and the anaesthetic. Local anaesthetic is the usual approach. You may feel pressure. Tell the surgeon if you feel pain. Sedation, if you both agree to it, is the published session fee and is not a general anaesthetic price. This page does not promise a fixed number of minutes, because a straightforward jaw and a jaw that also needs extractions are not the same operation.

Teeth that cannot be kept may be removed in the same session when the plan says so. Whether that removal is inside the quoted fee is also in the plan. Do not copy the extraction inclusion from the All-on-4 or All-on-6 packages across. Temporary teeth are fitted only when the implants are stable enough and the bite allows them. A fixed temporary is not the final bridge. If stability is not there, you leave without a fixed tooth, or with a removable temporary. Leaving with the finished teeth on the day of surgery is not the published plan.

The Gap And The Second Visit

During healing the implants should not be loaded beyond what the surgeon allowed. You can usually fly home once the team has checked the site, following their written advice. Airline rules are yours to check. The second trip is booked when the clinician says the final teeth can be made, not around a holiday that was chosen first.

The second visit is records, a try-in when needed, and fitting. The bite is checked so the new teeth do not hit early. You should leave knowing how to clean under the bridge and whom to contact if something feels loose or high.

Follow-Up And Later-Visit Scope

The written plan should explain review appointments, discharge information and the contact for problems between visits. Ask which follow-up is included in the fee and whether further treatment would be a separate line.
